Washougal River

One of my prayer walking partners lives up there; today we met at her place rather than in Portland. It’s peaceful and beautiful.
Salmon soup with good bread, strawberries and ice cream - we were treated royally.
Swimming was an option too, but the water was quite cold still, and we declined.
