Au revoir Auld Reekie

The temperature rose as we trained south in an air conditioned railway carriage . Its journey began at 0900 in Aberdeen - picked us up just after 1100 at Waverley and dropped us off in Cheltenham just after 1700. It was going all the way to Penzance where it was due to arrive at 2130! Very smooth journey at the end of an excellent visit to Edinburgh. Our garden had suffered from the sudden southern heatwave.
