Second City

I’ve never set foot in Birmingham before today. We are here ticking off a second bucket list item in a week - the first was to look out of the windows in the Eiger. The second is to have Dave Grohl sing Everlong to me. I appreciate he may be singing it to a few others at the same time but I’m cool with that.

The hotel would only allow a two night booking so we are here a day early - a few logistics were needed as Sarah doesn’t stay overnight at home alone, but so far so good. Plus some positive-ish news from Plymouth, as the GP is sorting some respite care for my mum.

Fingers crossed I get to see Dave and the gang tomorrow!
