A first... and probably the last

Gill and I met in The Ivy in Buchanan Street for 'morning tea' - a Christmas gift from her younger daughter - which we enjoyed very much. Three scones with strawberry jam, fresh strawberries and cream each! 

It was the first time we'd been in. There are some interesting pieces of art on the walls.

We sat chatting for so long afterwards that we decided to wet our whistles with a glass of chilled Pinot Grigio, which was very pleasant... until we got the bill.

I don't think we'll be back! ;-)
