Tow

So, we're out in Phyllis's nearly new Hyundai i10, on the M56... her having spent some time telling us about the joys of i10 ownership - she's now had three. There was a slight p'boing from somewhere under the bonnet, and we went from about 70mph to coasting in fairly short order. 

Thankfully the motorway had not yet benefited from a smart stupid motorway upgrade and there was a hard shoulder from which to call for help. Help came and took us to Lymm truck stop, and then a followup vehicle came and - finding no instant solution - towed us back to Phyl's.

All in a day... all under warranty... all now safe and sound. ;-)
