Waiting for Butterflies

Another hot day with up to 33°C. Big clouds are just now drawing in from the east, and we’re hearing distant thunder. It would be lovely to get some rain and cooler air for the night.

The buddleja bushes are in full bloom, but still there are almost no butterflies around. I waited and hoped for them to show up and give me blip opportunities like in recent years, but saw only a few bees and the big hover fly in the thumbnail.
