Salmon and asparagus salad

I adore asparagus and luckily much of it is grown in Herefordshire, a neighbouring county, so it's in ready supply in the Co-op. I don't like buying it out of season from Mexico and Peru, that feels like too much carbon for a vegetable side, so I eat a lot of it in the summer months.
