It's nae Glasgae
As often when I've come down to Edinburgh in the evening, I feel quite tired the following day. I had to get up early to meet SW for a coffee at 8am. We went to the place that has replaced Brew Lab on South College Street. I found it a bit antiseptic inside, and the grunge interior has largely gone. Not many people have discovered it as yet, so it was very quiet. The coffee is decent and they are getting their buns and stuff from Company Bakery, so that's a plus. However, overall I wasn't 100% impressed and would rather have Brew Lab back.
Thereafter I was in a succession of meetings and other encounters until 5.30pm, whilst fending off quite a few emails. A couple have been left for reply tomorrow morning when I feel fresher. I had a notion to take a longer cycle ride home, but to be honest I didn't really feel like it, so headed back to Leith and made myself a couple of fried eggs on a morning roll for my supper.
Right now, I feel like reading a book and listening to podcasts, so will indulge myself with that.
