Arctic Terns

Last year there were no nesting terns on May Isle so it was good to see (and hear) them again this year. Plenty of other birds to see.

Although it was very misty the weather was much better than we were expecting. Pleasantly warm and not a breath of wind so our crossing from Anstruther was really quite enjoyable.

Arrived back hungry and in need of fish and chips. The sun was shining and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the most delicious haddock and chips. Then it was back to the car and home to Glasgow.
