Stonehenge

I travelled back from Cornwall today. I stopped off in Plymouth to have lunch with a friend and then onto Stonehenge. The last time I went, I was a school girl and for years I having been meaning to go back. It was late afternoon and the weather was glorious. It is very well-managed and buses take you to and from the site - much better than an hour's return walk in today's heat.
Very near the car park is the Airman's Cross dedicated to two pioneer airmen who lost their lives in a flying accident near the site in 1912. Further details are in the second extra.
