A Flag Of Our Own . . . John Williamson

Today I went for a walk around the neigbourhood for a change.  Nothing really inspiring in the way of a blip so you get a house with a flag flying.  In New Zealand it isn't common to fly the flag.  Our flag is very like Australia's flag but we have red stars and they have white stars.   We both have the Union Jack in the corner.  There was a campaign to design a new flag and then have a referendum about changing the flag.  The public voted to keep what we have.  I can't remember  how I voted, isn't that terrible.
