Rade de Villefranche-sur-Mer

I took a lovely walk along the coastal path from Nice to Villefranche-sur-Mer. This view is on the approach to Villefranche, looking across the rade (harbour).

It is one of the deepest harbours in the Mediterranean, which means Villefranche attracts monstrous cruise ships like the Norwegian Viva - see extra.
