Rogue

Today has been a scorcher! It hit 31⁰C (87.8⁰F) today, with a slight breeze, so it appears that summer has finally hit, and in full force! Because of the heat, I fished my rogue hat out of the cupboard. I bought it 11 years ago when I lived in South Africa and it's been on many adventures with me.

Little Man and I biked round to a church friend's place. It was the longest I've biked with Little Man behind me and I think he loved it. He did wiggle a little but it wasn't too bad. Little Man had a hair cut. Laura has three boys (the youngest is about the same age as Little Man) and she cuts their hair. She does a better job than the hairdresser did.

We came home and spent the afternoon hanging out together. My parents had some friends round from South Africa. Little Man spent the entire time in the sandpit or the paddling pool. He was so happy.

We all went to life group. Little Man went to my parents' life group with them as they were having a meal together and my mum could take him if needed. Their life group meets about 5 minutes away from home.
