Viola and Sebastian

Took Al and a friend and Betsy and a friend to the park for an after school picnic.

Al and his friend, both in white t-shirts and shorts, with matching blonde hair were like Viola and Sebastian, two peas in a pod. They looked adorable, charging through the long golden grass in the late sunshine. They made a camp and were only seen in the distance, or when it was time for cake.

Betsy's friend Michelle is a fellow softball fanatic so they were pitching, batting and throwing and catching the whole time. We took Michelle's pitching net but most of the time was spent with me on my knees in the grass throwing the ball for them for a drill that Betsy informs me is called 'soft toss'!

Betsy got hit in the shin with a ground ball, really hard. She will have a peach there tomorrow.
