Getting there

I originally thought it would take a week but we are now in the second week and I’m itching for the chaos to be over and everything back to normal.  I mentioned this to my sister yesterday and she said her kitchen took 8 months!!!  Trying to be patient now!

I was home again as OH was meeting No1 in London - she suggested this rather than hi driving round the M25.  It was hot so they had lunch by the Thames.  I had a brain wave in the morning and wondered if the Rib would be booked up?  She had booked it for my birthday last year but as she was in hospital at the time missed out.  It was and I booked two places and they had a fantastic time, and the weather and experience could not have been more perfect.  It is so lovely to be able to do nice things for her which doesn’t take away the sh*t but does break up the tedium.

My afternoon was a little less exciting, I did some sewing and then when kitchen boys had gone,  Visited MIL in care home with a bunch of sweet peas. Quick trip to Junction 8 for M&S salad and prepared chicken - will have to get used to cooking again soon?

No2 sent me a picture of studio progress and piece of work which he needs to finish for coming exhibition.
