Up very early

I got up at 2.15am although the alarm was set for 3.00am. We are packed and waiting for our daughter to pick us up at 4.00am and take us to the airport. We have a long day ahead. Christchurch to Auckland then Auckland to Singapore. When we booked last year the Christchurch to Singapore service had not been restarted since Covid. It now is running again and, if we had been on this one , the departure time is a very civilized 10.00am.
