Brucianni’s

In Preston for a hospital appointment (nothing serious) and then met my manager for a coffee. It was ages since I’d been to Brucianni’s, and the decor is as lovely as ever (and the coffee was much better than I remembered). D has been very supportive throughout John’s illness, which has been really helpful. Our working assumption is that I will have a single day in the office in a couple of weeks, and then we will decide what might work best. But I am definitely not feeling any pressure to go back to work (though I think that getting back into a more normal routine would probably be helpful for me)
