A less successful day

Another backblip.
Found a walk in a French magazine that said it went to a wild valley so we drove north a bit and then up a very narrow road. The first part ascended steeply through woods and then into a more open part. Shortly after this we lost the path (we didn't read the instructions carefully enough) and were ploughing through even rougher country and somewhere near this waterfall decided to turn back, although we'd now found the path which was easy for a while.
Then it was back into the woods with a couple of very slippery sections where I managed to slip, even though being careful, and sustained several bruises. The rest of the walk was slow and painful but I made it without further mishap.
