I’ve had a pretty lazy day today: apart from a quick trip to the recycling centre with some garden waste, I spent most of the morning on the phone conducting the annual re-negotiation of my car insurance renewal quote.

Once again the AA wanted to increase my premium by over 50%, despite the fact that I could get a quote with the same underwriter the AA used last year for the same price as last year. Needless to say I went direct to the underwriter this year and cut out the middle man.

The coreopsis in the blip has flourished since I took it out of the ground, where it was getting eaten and put them in a pot.
