Road Still Closed

Our lane and the adjoining road that links us to the Colchester-bound A120 has been closed for 6 weeks whilst a massive trench was made to run an electric cable to a new industrial estate being built at the roundabout. The alternative back lane to the A120 is also being closed by the water company from Monday so I walked all the way to the A120 to recce the likelihood of the principle route reopening (should have opened today). It doesn’t look quite ready yet though most of the trench is now filled…this bit doesn’t look hopeful :-)
