Home and away

Early morning drive over to Southampton to board our cruise ship. We are on Celebrity Apex - never been on Celebrity before - to Ireland, up to Iceland and back via the Orkneys. We are very impressed with the ship so far - a lovely room, very smooth so far and the food is amazing! The strange orange thing on the side of the ship is the ‘Magic Carpet’ - a bar/ seating area which goes up and down!
Really we are just looking forward to a break from normality and this seemed a good way. We only booked last minute as we are still waiting for JPs knee op - but thought we must get away!
