Bridging

The "temporary" bridge I hacked together with a couple of planks until I got around to building a proper metal one, has begun to fail.

Given that it was "temporary" 9 years ago I've resorted to getting someone else to build one for me.  Thus I needed to remind myself of some of the dimensions of the track and bridge piers (and it would seem to be the only pic I've taken today).

Meanwhile, I'm looking at the dimensions I need for a bridge for the indoor layout.  That I will make myself - if nothing else it doesn't have to withstand the rigours of weather.
