Flowers

Standard morning. At work. Lovely afternoon. As Stalker wasn’t in today, I needed to be at work but friends meeting up weren’t going to exclude me, so came in for lunch at LC. Stef, Anna, Bev, Deb and Lynn all came armed with belated birthday gifts and insisted on ribbing me for being old! 
We caught up on each others lives and shared laughs over old memories. What it did remind me of was how much better LC was before 2020. All the staff knew each other, we were all the LC family, and it’s gone now. I do still like my job, and am very aware of how much I need it on several levels, but it really isn’t the joy that it was!
