Lines & Wonders

Another very full day with an early start, thankfully made easier by Danny giving me a lift to San An. I was recording a podcast with 24-7 Prayer this morning which was fun. We had a conversation about prayer, perseverance and the Roma. I had to cover the tiled floor in the prayer room with cushions to try and soften the sounds and stop the echo - it looked chaotic, ha! I think the episode is out in August, and the filmed version too. As ever, there's things I wish I'd said, but it is what it is!
Then from that I headed to the hospital to visit the guy who's nearing the end of his life. Such a lovely lovely man, who's lived here for 20 years! Felt a real privilege to have time with him. The visits will be a regular thing.
Home and my blipped model and I walked to the far away supermarket to shop for tonight's team dinner and bible. 
A great evening together, plus 2 new team members and their baby! So it was quite a crowd of us in the flat.
And finally getting the 24-7 Ibiza newsletter done and sent! 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Fun conversation with Brian and Hannah.
2) Nate helping me carry the shopping home.
3) A good night with the team - good chat round the table and good chat about the verses we were reading (Jesus conversation with Nicodemus in John 3v1-21)
