Cottingham

The final day of our holiday. We visited the nearby village of Cottingham which is apparently the largest village in the UK. I don’t know how this is decided but it appeared to be more of a small town. The market was on but this only amounted to about ten stalls. There were some lovely coffee shops, lots of charity shops and some fab delicatessens. We had a late lunch at a great Italian restaurant.
We packed our cases late afternoon and headed for home. I find early checkout at holiday lets is very restrictive and it can become a waste of a day so we prefer to travel home at night.
