full of optimism...

My cousin arrived a couple of days ago. Recently separated, she's full of energy, optimism and exciting plans for travel. Good that she found time to stop by us; we didn't do a lot yesterday, only tennis she couldn't join in because of injury, and a walk along the always delightful boardwalk. Plans to go to fish restaurant in Portimao thwarted by the discovery that we were travelling at exactly the same time and in exactly the same direction as all 40,000 people attending Afro Nation festival. Quick phone call and we were in at the little italian near home and fish restaurant can wait till a quieter day!
