This Is A Call

Worra weird day I've had; had another terrible night's sleep that left me absolutely exhausted, and I think that coupled with a few truly baffling (read: infuriating) work emails led to a small panic attack in the morning...! The day turned around though with a pub garden lunch with the work folks, before I headed home early to get ready for the Foo Fighters gig this evening. The gig itself was a bit of a mixed bag too; Villa Park was a terrible venue in some ways (a 45min queue for a drink? Come on now...) and the sound was a bit dodgy in spots, but we managed to find a space that worked for us. The Foo Fighters were, as per usual, absolutely great live! Really insane performances from all of them, honestly. My only issue with seeing them live is they have a habit of extending songs for 2mins or so, which is nice for maybe one song, but they do it a lot and I just want them to play more songs instead, haha! (I loved Weezer live because they did very little crowd work and just played as much as they could in their alloted time, LOL!) Still, fabulous night, until my period came swooping in to gimme a bunch of aches towards the end. Cheers, biology... Like I said, weird day!
