The Whiskered One

Minstrel was enjoying his little box this morning. The bigger box next to him arrived yesterday, filled with food for him, so he will enjoy that too I'm sure.

The weather seems to have turned again today, it's cooler, cloudy and windy. The wind is playing havoc with the signal to our Sky dish. 

No, I do not think that the wind is blowing the satellite waves away or anything as batshit as that. But the very tall tree opposite blows and causes the signal to be blocked. There were issues when we first had Sky and the dish had to be fitted to the chimney. Now the tree has grown sufficiently to block it again and there's nowhere else to move it to.

I did email the council, who are responsible for the trees in the car park, but did not receive any reply.

I have been at work today. It was the quietest payday Friday ever! Claire says it has been quiet all week. Two new vans have popped up in the area - obviously that won't help. I won't be at work next week as Claire is having a weekend away at a yoga retreat. Lucky Claire.

Tomorrow I will definitely Blip my tree!
