Emerging
Cautiously.
Thank you all for the hearts for Mystère. It was terribly hard to say goodbye to him, but there really was no other option. Trying to keep him as comfortable as possible while waiting for S to get back from the UK took up all my attention over the last couple of weeks, so I've appreciated a quiet time with no demands over the last few days. Missing him, especially last thing at night when he would always curl up tightly beside me (when he wasn't actually sleeping on top of me), but I'm grateful for the 14 years of his company, and his many adventures.
Blip: I keep going out to check on the kestrels and was lucky to catch one of them poking its head out of the nest. It's a bit blurry but better in large.
