The verges...

...between Scisset and Denby Dale have just sprung into life...

Taken on our way back from picking up our new specs in Wakefield... 

This long stretch of verge was left "au naturel" a couple of years ago, and was absolutely gorgeous. Last year certain species seemed to have taken over, but they have obviously tinkered with the mix again as this year the variety has returned. 

I risked life and limb to bag my blip, as the verge joins the road without a path between ;)
