We seem to have acquired a racing pigeon. All being well, it’s just having a pitstop and will continue its journey soon. Until then, however, we’ve made it welcome with some bird seed (which it happily ate from Son1’s hand) and water. We’ve managed to get the registration number from its ankle rings but, following the advice on the Royal Pigeon Racing Association website, will give it a couple of days to move on before reporting. Meanwhile, Son1 has named it Clive.
