Rugtime

Came across this place in Sussex. The rugs are all vintage and collectible and come with price tags beyond my means. Lovely to browse ‘though. The woman minding the shop was a fan of Hay like us so we swopped stories.

A day not without its challenges but there were many good things, including resupplying with eggs from Sky Park Farm, weeding, putting up shelves and enjoying a really nice kale pesto pasta supper.

Finished reading: The Inequality of Wealth by Liam Byrne. Very good, lots of thought provoking stuff. We cannot go on living in a world where wealth is concentrated in so few hands; it is not just economically damaging but culturally and politically disastrous.
