A study of the Lido

Yoga, 7am, outdoors on top of the Lido. Wonderful. Used the opportunity to get a few shots from within this remarkable structure. I post plenty of blips of the pier from land, but this is what it leads to. Mobbed in its heyday, there used to be scarily high dive boards, but these days the many regular swimmers are more sedate!

It's a well loved local landmark, but needs a lot of upkeep (constant debate). Wedding receptions and corporate events are sometimes held here. 

After my little photo shoot I had to rush off to work. A much better day than yesterday though. J thought so too, when I popped to see her on the way home.
