DAISIES

I went to visit Neil and Luna this afternoon.  When I got to their house I was surprised to see Rachael's  car on the drive as Friday isn't her day to work from home.  She had actually been to work this morning and had come home to change and was heading off to South Shields to her company's Summer Party in Bents Park. Unfortunately the weather wasn't like Summer at all.  It was chilly and windy and it was raining. It was an outdoor event with large inflatables and other outdoor activities plus food/drink etc.  Fortunately there would also be a large marquee so folk could shelter if the weather was rainy.  Hopefully it was better at the coast so everyone could have fun outdoors.

After we had a catch up Rachael went off in a taxi to Newcastle where she was going to get the Metro to South Shields.  Neil was supposed to be having a quiet working day but it turned out to be busy so I hardly saw him at all.  At least I had Luna to keep me company.... see Extra.

I left Neils around 4pm and got a bus to the Metrocentre.  Had a nice leisurely mooch around. It wasn't very busy.
