Roche

Looking down onto the village of Roche in the Rhone valley. I met other members of Pro Natura there at 6.30 this morning to do some conservation work. The forecast was for it to be up to 30 degrees so we wanted an early start. It was hard work, especially as it’s on a slope, but very rewarding. We saw lots of butterflies and a large snake.

Our son received his results today and is now a qualified carpenter after 5 years of apprenticeship. It’s been an amazing experience for him and a lot of hard work but we’re all delighted with the results.
