The eye has it

Saturday morning walk with J, starting at Auchinstarry basin going along the Forth and Clyde canal for a mile or so, a lot of fellow travelers, bikes, prams a canoe. Crossed the bridge and up to the Roman soldiers head, which is a 5m high, steel sculpture of a soldiers head and helmet, very dramatic and in close proximity to the path of Antonines Wall. Back through the woods for coffe and Empire biscuit, alfresco at The Port Gallery.
