Marché

Aix en Provence market . It was hot and very busy. The weather is changing though and a warm gusty wind kept blowing the stalls around and knocking over the displays. The clothing part of the market was a bit disappointing. Mostly imported stuff and most of the stalls selling the same things. Enjoyable nevertheless.
The food area was wonderful with the usual displays of fruit and vegetables.
We bought olive oil and a few other things. Would have loved to buy Provençal fabric but couldn’t think what I’d ever do with it!
Extra is LooseCanon buying a copy of the Official guide to the Tour de France in French for our son in law as requested . He’s a French teacher and I think it gives him an excuse to talk about cycling in lessons!
