Yeah...

...new handlebar grips!

A fortnight ago I blippedmy naked handlebars...some blighter had pinched them while the bike sat in Stirling waiting for me to return from work.

Popped into Halfords today and bought replacements. So I am a happy cyclist again. Apparently, they are for a BMX bike...watch this space for my tricks;-). They fit pretty snuggly:-)

Also paid an annual rental for a Bycycle locker at the railway station. I've had my name on the waiting list for one of these for about 18 months...one came up a few weeks ago and I've opted to take it.

I'm a wee bit apprehensive about getting the bike in the locker...think it's going to necessitate an earlier leave from home to give me time to manoeuvre it in, time will tell.

But as I say in the post a couple weeks back the incidences of the bike being tampered with are getting more frequent so it's perhaps an omen!

Locker number is 13...hope that's not another omen:-)
