The storm was electrical, with thunder and lightning in the small hours of the morning and 20mm of rain which fell rapidly and caused some flash flooding. 

Around 17:00 this afternoon a bit of blue appeared after a dull, soggy and moody day. We've never experienced such a storm in late June. But it's feeling beautifully refreshed and we'll be enjoying a cooler evening. Tomorrow and next week normal summer heat will be resumed!
