My Life With Luna

Common Restharrow.   We saw this pretty flower growing in the shingle at the edge of the nature reserve in Felixstowe.
Although very pretty it's not one for the garden,  apparently it has tough and woody roots with a creeping habit that caused problems to farmers before the days of mechanisation in that it could stop horses ploughing or harrowing by getting tangled in machinery.
