Blarney House, Cork, Ireland

This is within the same estate as Blarney Castle (where you need to kiss the Blarney Stone if you want the gift of eloquence; and we did kiss it today). It is open to the public only for 4 hours a day. We didn't go for it, but that's okay.

Ireland is experiencing a heat wave. On one hand, surprising; even the Irish admit it has taken them by complete surprise. On the other hand, not really surprising; at least, not any more, especially after the cold wave we experienced in India last winter, which caught many Hindus by surprise. The weather will remain downright hot until Friday, after which some clouds have been predicted to arrive. The general impression is that it will, at the very least, remain dry, which is exactly what will make us happy. Something to be thankful for? You bet!
