Ben Loyal

Today's hill was Ben Loyal - the most northerly Corbett and a gem of a hill. We started in sunshine but unfortunately above 500m were in mist and cloud. A pity but a decent walk non the less. 
This area is , of course on the NC500. It actually feels fairly quiet although the hotel is full of folk doing the route. Very good for business says the hotelier with July and August being the busy months. The roads however are in a dreadful state - falling apart under pressure from traffic and camper vans I think
