Three Lads On A Boat*

The time has finally come for Tuttle Jnr to take Grandad Tuttle's boat out for a week, without "adult" supervision. Scary thought when you consider boat hire companies generally say "no" to young adult parties. Fortunately the four of them are not into clubs & parties! Fortunately, also, Tuttle Jnr has had his fair share of boating over the years let it be driving, lock keeping and mooring. However, running the boat to avoid mutiny is a different matter all together. Notably cooking, cleaning and emptying the toilet!

The first stretch involved showing one of the crew the first 4 locks on the Llangollen canal, Hurleston Locks, where we met the other two crew members. From here the quartet headed off towards Wrenbury, while I got a lift back to the boat yard then set off home.

The weather is favourable for them.......
