Dahlia revival

Well the slug pellets worked! The slugs stripped the dahlia of pretty much all its leaves, almost killing it off. I bought some slug pellets and surrounded it and pruned the stripped leaves. The plant is now fully clothed with leaves and this beauty of a flower, with a couple more buds at least to come!
I also took shots of the delphinium ‘unopened flowers’ just in case the slugs get through the slug pellets :-)))
