Penny and Kiruri

(Day 7)
As we drove up to Sutton Coldfield we first had a meet-up with Kiruri and Penny at the service station near Solihull where they live.
Many years ago, back in the 80's, Penny went off to work in Kenya and left some of her belongings with us. She met Kiruri there and stayed in Kenya for many years. We have met up now and again but never found a way of handing back the record collection. Finally we get the chance. Two crates of Motown and reggae LPs from the 70's and 80's have finally arrived back with Penny, after 40 years in our storeroom!
It was wonderful to meet them and natter for a couple of hours over a coffee. We haven’t met for six years. They are now planning a visit to us!!
Then it was on to meet more blippers...
