Happy ending

Next was meeting Max and Maya at the Meadows for the climate festival. We had cricket cake with blueberries from a shop. Cricket has 69 g of protein. (So much more than vegan protein powder. Maybe puregym should use this for bulking up.). We then hopped to all the shops in the circle. It was quite nice.

I also bumped into Cat and Ashwin. Cat is from my bollywood class and Ashwin is my teacher from the Bhangra class. He is a super teacher, slightly strict but all in good spirit.

We then saw a fashion show and Ukranian dance. Poor Max was invited to join the dance but I think he did really well. He really doesn’t like couple dancing but he was happy boy. I loved when they got all of kids, adults and the ladies together. Made me feel like a big happy family dance.

Following this was a fashion show, which was also really nice. It had recycled clothes. Some people were very innovative.

Kat came along was well as there was some Salsa and Bachata class. We didn’t get to speak so much. But it was really nice seeing her dance along with 3 other Max’s.

I also saw my ex-lecturer/ dissertation supervisor from a distance. Following the falling out with him and others I slipped into severe depression and was actively suicidal. For a moment, I thought I should say hello. But I don’t think he would like me to do that. I also would now not know what to say anymore. I immediately left seeing him seeing that I was getting affected and felt immensely depressed on the way back. And had my antidepressant. It’s been 3 years and seemingly I have been forgotten but I feel hurt.

John texted saying he is at Tuk Tuk, couple of minutes away from me. I wanted to eat from there. So he said come and I went. I his lovely family: Sabine, Leo and Malte. Who all knew me but I didn’t know them. Leo and Malte are very well bought up. Sabine was lovely as well. We chatted about lessons in Chemistry and other books and CAKES! We both love to bake. For John’s leaving do next Sunday, I have blackforest and German cheesecake in mind. So hopefully they come out OK. John’s other two kind visitors from Basel, were lovely as well. The man was an expert in Languages and they both wore lovely glasses.
