New box

Today's excitement was the arrival of the new fridge/freezer. JL brought early, just as I cleared out the old one.  Not sure I like it. It's narrower inside, doesn't have the wee drawer for ice cube trays etc and I don't like the open freezer drawer but I knew that already but it works and I don't need a step ladder to get to the top shelf. 

Washed floors, and changed the filter on the cooker hob. #2 was at his house getting the garden done. Outside it was changeable, sunshine and cloud and generally cool. 

J phoned and I faffed around and later watched some more French flics drama. 

Felt like.a wasted day somehow.
