Simple Pleasures

Today we opened up one of our compost bins which has been 'cooking' for around a year or so. I'm sure you'll find it hard to believe but there is something very exciting and satisfying about it.

It's the same pleasure and anticipation that you get from digging up potatoes. Anyway the compost was perfect, so it's now snuggled around our courgettes and broadbeans so they'll grow up big and strong.
