Over The Fields And Far Away
No Park Run today as many of the organisers, volunteers and runners are at the Glastonbury Festival so we did our old Covid route. For some reason, we both found it really hard work.
After breakfast, Kate and Sophie came over for a swim then stayed for lunch.
We’d recovered enough this afternoon for a stroll across the field to Sharpham. The farmer has been busy harvesting the grass for silage but obviously still has this field in the foreground to do,
The rest of the day was spent multitasking, watching Glastonbury on TV while keeping an eye on the football on the laptop.
The wind must have been in the right direction tonight as could hear the drums and bass from Coldplay’s set all the way from the festival site 6 or 7 miles away.
