Firmly rooted

Short 8 km walk today, mostly to get my hiking boots a bit more worn in before the longer journeys I’m planning for summer. I gave myself the challenge of shooting with the Classic Chrome film simulation, which is much more muted than the Velvia I usually choose when out in nature. It fit the weather, overcast and only a few hours before a large rain came in.
